Green Skhug

Recipe

Skhug is served as a common hot sauce condiment in many Middle Eastern recipes, and almost all Yemenite meals are served with a small side dish of skhug.

Ingredients (for one jar)
• 1.5 cups of fresh coriander (cilantro) leaves
• 5 medium hot green peppers (with seeds)
• 4 cloves of garlic
• ½ teaspoon of cumin
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
• salt to taste

Preparation

Ground ingredients in a food processor until you have a sauce like consistency
